We never go out on Valentine's day - the restaurants are always crowded and if you're looking for an intimate moment with a nice atmosphere I never think it can be found in a public space with lots of noise, strangers all around you, excessive prices for some meals that often come up a bit short of the expected and plenty of distractions.  And the truth  be told, you don't need to go out of your home to have a truly romantic evening with your love, right? If you like to cook, try a new recipe or up the ante of your favourite one and make it together.

  Eat dinner by flickering candlelight.

Dance together throughout every room of your home at the sound of your favourite song.

Take a bubble bath ... and invite him in.

Be just a little bit naughty with your lingerie:  subtly sexy, not cheesy.

Indulge him with the finest treats.

 

Pop a good bottle of champagne and feel no guilt about it.

Spray your favorite cologne or perfume on your pillow cases or sheets.
