More than 15 years ago I visited a childhood friend's new house which she had completely remodelled, since it was quite old, and turned into something really special. One of the details that immediately caught my attention was the fact that she had no carpets/ rugs in the living room, dinning room, bathroom or kitchen areas - instead, the tiles she chose, bold and gorgeous, had been placed in a way that their own design looked like an intricated carpet all by itself. I don't know if it is due to that mesmerizing moment, but the fact is that since then I feel a certain appeal for colourful and patterned floor tiles that are a great statement of your daringly risky personality.
A minha casa não tem madeira no chão e confesso que isso a torna fria, húmida, menos cozy. Mas quando vejo hidraulicos do século 19 em revistas de decoração, como não assumir que se pudesse enchia chão da casa com esses mosaicos????
