There's something inexplicably decadent, antique and intoxicating but at the same time intrinsically ecletic, classy and beautiful about parisian interior design. The first time I visited this city I fell in love completely and utterly with it. I felt like I was entering a History book, full of characters and breathtaking landscapes and everything around me felt just magical, ethereal, romantic and overwhelming. I really had the feeling that I was arriving home. If you've fallen in love with Paris and do not want to let go its atmosphere, you may apply Parisian decor at you house through decorative items - prints, pictures, vintage postcards, throw pillows, mirrors, replicas of its most important landmark [the Eiffel Tower], boxes of soaps, antique furniture, flowery wall papers and bedding, wooden floors, jewelry boxes, a French armoir...Well, you name it, I'll show it! These interior design elements can quite well recreate the captivating atmosphere of the city with bright lights, with vivid passion, the city that founded haute couture, that has style and supports fashion forwardness.And believe me, either you have been there already or not, if you display them as suggested you'll enter your place with the comforting feeling of landing dans Paris everytime you enter home!

ReplyDeleteI've never been to Paris (much less anywhere outside the US besides Canada) but I'd love to! It looks beautiful. I've studied much of the architecture and landscape architecture (that's what I'm majoring in) and it's absolutely lovely and well designed. The photos here are very inspirational! Wish I had a house to decorate, lol.

I'm in love with Paris, I gathered many things for my home when I was there. My home decor is Parisian (I have the headboard the same as in the 2nd pic) and I have lots of Eiffel towers in my house. soon I'll make a post about it =)
