Vegetables Quiche

I frequently like eating sauté vegetables and this somewhat spicy mexican mixture happens to show up at the groceries' list more often than I would like to admit. So yesterday I was cleaning up the freezer and found an half full package and decided to give it a good use - into a tasty quiche. It ended up being delicious and great to be eaten as a main course or accompanying ham rolls on the side, for example.

Ingredients:
  • 1 sheet puff pastry
  • 1 packet of cream
  • 1 fresh cheese
  • 3 eggs
  • chili
  • 5 peppers mill
  • Mexican mixture sauté vegetables [at LIDL]
In a frying pan with no oil  [since the vegetables mixture is already seasoned]  sauté the vegetables. Put the puff pastry into a mold and prick the bottom with a fork. In a separate bowl beat the cream, the eggs, the fresh cheese and season with a bit of chili and 5 peppers mill. Pour it over the puff pastry and then add the sauté vegetables. Cover with the rest of the dough and take to a pre heated oven at 180º until golden.
