This week was marked by pretty, passionate, spontaneous images of love. In the street I observed touching manifestations of affection - in the market where normally I go to buy flowers, I came across  with the despair of a secret admirer who was desperately trying to make sure that the addressee of his gift would never discover who had sent it, in the bus, a couple of Eastern Europe adolescents, who seemed to have come out directly from the cover of a magazine [I swear they do - I usually see them passing by and I felt terribly tempted to photograph them], were hugged with their heads leaning against each other andand now and then they gaze at each other as if around them anything else disappeared and the world existed only in  inside that look; in a store a youngster bought fluffy teddy bear to offer his girlfriend, very ashamed and when the saleswoman asked him if it he wanted a ribbon to signal Valentine's day, he almost inaudibly answered yes and he disappeared inside his own voice's  repression and the kids of the school where I work filled a complete wall of the library written with original phrases - it even moved me! Furthermore I was surrounded by those who are dear to me  and they got a taste of the cake I made for a special person[;)], but that ended up by not being able to eat it all by himself, because as my love, the cake was excessively big! I'm in the mood for...

Esta semana foi marcada por bonitas, apaixonadas, espontâneas imagens de amor. Na rua observei manifestações de afeto enternecedoras - no mercado onde normalmente vou comprar flores, deparei-me com a aflição de um apaixonado secreto que tentava desesperadamente certificar-se que a destinatária do seu presente jamais saberia quem o tinha mandado, no autocarro, uma casal de adolescentes de leste, que parecem saídos diretamente da capa de uma revista [juro que parecem - eu costumo vê-los com frequência e estive quase tentada a fotografá-los!], vão abraçados com as cabeças encostadas e de vez em quando fitam-se, como se à sua volta tudo o mais desaparecesse e o mundo existisse apenas dentro daquele olhar; numa loja um rapaz comprava um peluche para oferecer à namorada, muito envergonhado e quando a vendedora lhe perguntou se era para assinalar data do dia dos namorados ele quase inaudivelmente respondeu que sim e sumiu-se dentro do próprio abafo da voz e os miúdos da escola onde eu trabalho encheram uma parede da Biblioteca de corações artesanais ilustrados com frases originais - até me comoveu!Para além disso estive rodeada de pessoas que me são queridas e que provaram o bolo que eu fiz para uma em especial [;)], mas que acabou por não dar conta do recado, pois, tal como o meu amor, o bolo era grande demais! Apetece-me...

{doing something totally unexpected in this freezing weather but that I truly love - eating ice-cream while wacthing a movie, warm in bed}

{fazer uma coisa totalmente inesperada neste frio cortante, mas que eu realmente adoro - comer gelado enquanto vejo um filme, quentinha na cama}

{getting on time at Zara Home to get this carpet that is on sales}
