[Cake]Stand By Me

To me there´s nothing more beautiful than welcoming your guests in a truly intimate, pleasant, aesthetically, enjoyable and cozy atmosphere and this is reached when you equip your house not only with essentials necessary to have a comfortable lifestyle but, above all, with the transformation of the then empty, cold, souless space, filled by small details that humanize it, turning a house into a home, giving it a soul. This is precisely when one of my decor passions - that of cake stands -  comes into play. Besides the utility value that they have, they also come with the advantage of embellishing cakes and have the gift of turning an ordinary occasion [such as a simple tea time] into an unique, unforgettable and stylish moment.They are the living proof that you love pampering your guests and that you apreciate gifting them with beauty, elegance, refinement, sweetness and good taste. It shows that you really cared and took care. As for you I don't know, but as far as I'm concern my stands for cakes always stand by me! ;)

    These are absolutely gorgeous! I got a cake stand in August and haven't been able to use it yet. I Baked cupcakes on the weekend but I took them to a friends house so I didn't want to break my glass stand in transport. I love the icing on the cakes in the first picture.     The only problem of having such sweet treats on display is that they would be a constant teptation for those living at our place...and believe me when I tell you that muffins, cakes or pies wouldnt last a day... LOL!
