In The Mood For

{fuelling up different kinds of teas for the weekend}

After a pretty lousy week of cold and some other problems the créme de la créme was the terrible flew that just landed in my house, anticipating an equally miserable weekend. So I guess it will rotate around chicken soup, Lipton's blueberry muffin/ strawberry cake and white teas, homemade butter cookies, lattes, caramel flavoured popcorns and watching these Oscar nominated movies: 12 Years a Slave, American Hustle {with my beloved Christian Bale -crossed fingers on you}, Dallas Buyer Club, Gravity and Wolf of Wall Street! Have a nice weeknd! I'm in the mood for...

{loving this hairdo - with I had the guts to cut my hair like this!}

{wearing casual comfy clothes and mixing statement with dainty accessories}

{living by the fireplace}

{purple nailpolish to match the wintery weather - very good price/ duration relationship}

{buying amazingly flavoured regional cheeses for a cheese tasting party}

{loving the beautiful inspirational coloured leaves dresses that some trees have on }

  5. Oh, honey, I am so sorry you're sick! When the flu hits our house, I make a soup of chicken broth, lots of garlic (browned in olive oil), white beans, and escarole. And then we serve it with lots of crushed red pepper. Fixes us right up! Then: green tea with honey. And yoghurt. And aspirin (the real stuff) if you can take it. ALSO, and this is important, use a saline spray for your nose. It keeps any bacteria from giving you secondary infections.

    Oh, yeah, and movies and lots of sweets. Kisses and hugs, I'm send you good vibes...

  6. Oh, honey, I'm so sorry you're sick! The best thing about the flu is that 1) you will be left immune to that particular strain of flu forever; and 2) you get to do nice things for yourself.

    Eat lots of soup. Hugs and kisses, I'm sending you good vibes...
