September Beauty Buys

Here are my Top Shelf makeup, skincare and beauty favorites for September. i hope you'll enjoy them!

1. I got this cleanser/ mask in a gift set. It has a thick and creamy texture and as I have combination skin and I like how this cleans my face and also like  the smell. You only need a pea-sized amount to cover the whole face and jaw area. It's super creamy and lush, and cleanses without stripping. A little goes a long way with this cleanser and that's important to keep in mind. Once a week I wear it as a mask because it has this dual effect and  my skin definitely felt clean after!

2. After reading so many good reviews about MAC's lipstick Snob [it is iconic in the blogger world], I decided to try it.  Many describe it as a neutral pink however I found this wasn't the case - for me it is a cool-toned light-medium pink with a subtle gray-tint and the texture is just a smidgen drier than other lipsticks I own. Due to the nature of this colour, it does settle into fine lines a bit but is very moisturising too so it still looks good. Overall I'm enjoying it and I love putting it with a smokey eye.

3. The Catrice Liquid Metal Eyeshadow comes in a shiny, plastic black case with clear top and on the bottom you find the eyeshadow’s name and other necessary details. Very affordable despite its great quality, this eyeshadow - Under Treasure, an antiqued gold shade - has a beautiful embossed pattern that shows off the multi-dimensional shimmers and reflects perfectly. You only need a little bit, and you’re good to go!
