November Beauty Buys

As winter is increasingly settling in and the festivities are just around the corner I thought of investing in products that not only would nourish my skin but also that would be a treat and would make me look nice while entertaining friends and family. Hope you'll love them as much as I did!

1. La Mer's Refining Facial exfoliator is a gem - both in efficiency and price tag, but it is an extraordinary product that used twice a week, like I normally do, will last you a year, so it's well worth the finantial effort. This exfoliating treatment's fermented sea muds and pure diamond powder [how cool] instantly polish skin, absorb toxins and extra sebum from the pores and stimulate circulation to reveal a fresh, translucent, healthy complexion. It's an excellent product that makes your skin looks rejuvenated, smoothed and radiant. After washing my face I apply it to my still just a bit dampened skin [I lightly dry it] and I massage it onto my skin by dampening my fingertips, massaging it in, focusing on my nose, cheeks, and forehead. Then I leave the rest of the product on for about 5 minutes [it has proven to be a great pore cleaning mask as well]. Afterwards I gently wash it off with lukewarm water using only my hands.I totally love it and I'll be wearing it forever!

2. From all the eyepencils I've tried on these from Estée Lauder's are definitely the best. It goes on smoothly and stays all throughout the day without smudging [though if you want to it actually comes with a smudger], it draws a perfect line and it never drags or causes irritation. For me it is the best eyeliner on the market -  you don't need to press too hard to get the colour to show. This brown superpigmented hue - coffee - is great for daytime and more subtle than black.

3. Chanel's Illusion D'ombre cream eyeshadows are my ultimate passion make-up wise speaking. The super chic packaging , a clear round jar format with black shiny top with Chane's logo, simple and classic; the easy to wear formula and the amazing colours that look even better put on than in the container make it an amazing product.  It comes with a brush that is a little stiff , great if you  want to use it as an eyeliner. I either use the the brush included or  my fingertips. Either of these methods work just as well, I alternate depending on whatever is the easiest for me. It lasts all day with no creasing, but I don't have exceptionally oily lids. I've chose New Moon - a limited edition with  glittery, medium-dark brown with warm, red undertones and a metallic finish -for the upcoming festivities and it has revealed to be a bit unexpected in the good way because it is absolutely gorgeous and a great addition to my make-up collection.
