DVF's Wrap Dress
DVF’s iconic dress from 1972 [almost as old as me] has since then played an integral role in many women’s stylish wardrobes across the globe. The dress’crisp crossover V-neck collar, accentuated with a tied self-belt to sculpt a figure-flattering silhouette is a timeless and ultra sophisticated piece, but concomitantly an easy-to-wear staple as well, that will make you feel polished and chic all day long - it's perfect not only for the office, but also for an evening out, looking effortlessly chic in any occasion. It comes in almost any print - animal, geometrical, solid ans dome sophisticated accessories cana ctually accentuate its natural sophistication. You really can't go wrong with this classic and as you walk on the street feeling ultra feminine and powerful wearing this flattering dress, you can call it a wrap!

I had one of those (or a knock-off, can't remember) in 1972! It was burgundy and I had matching slingback heels (which cost me 2 weeks salary) and I thought I was the most beautiful girl in the world (which, of course, I was).
ReplyDeleteThat was right before I turned into a radical hippie and stopped wearing makeup and let my body hair grow. Took me YEARS to recover from THAT nonsense!
