Sheepskin Rug

 I fell in love with this type of rugs a long ago and have finally decided that's what I want for my master bedroom - they'll give it a nice glam touch, conveying a luxurious look and feel. Rugs made of sheepskin can be used in a number of settings and in a number of ways, such as coverings for seats or beds, draped over chairs, in front of a fireplace,  babies room,   master suite... the possibilities are endless. They are naturally soft, comfortable at touch, warm and a classic. Nowadays there are a lot of great fake sheepskin rugs and Ikea has a nice range at very affordable prices. How do you feel about this style?

Denim On Denim

I have mixed feelings about this combo - on the one hand I find it super cool and trendy; on the other hand I  really think that it requires some hardwork to pull off this [only seemingly] effortless look -  a look that really can come across as very chic and sophisticated!I believe balance [to mix fabric weights and washes]is the secret ingredient - as you can see from the pictures when they mix two shades of denim, lighter shades  draw attention to the body areas they cover, while darker washes create a slimming effect and when they opt for the same wash they accessorize it with statement  pieces of jewelry and glam it up with a spectacular pair of towering heels. I hope you get inspired from the variety of these looks and  give it your own go. I'm on it!

Fall is officially here and I couldn´t feel happier about the returning of my favourite season! It's the time for cozy blankets, lit up firpeplaces, dim lights, hot cups of tea and latte early in the morning and late in the afternoon, homebaked rustic cakes with the fruits of the season on the weekends, bunches of fresh wild flowers picked up in the woods nearby, movie nights in, curling up with fashion magazines with the lastest news, great cooking books that are about to be launched the upcoming month [FNAC has my pre-order by now], sultry make up, warm fabrics, pumpkin pie and all the colours of Autumn...It feels like a new beginning and so I welcome it with arms wide open!
