Last Days Of Summer - Part 2

 After a few days of sunshine making us guess the presage of an eagerly awaited spring, then suddenly the rain falls again, the days cool and darken one more time and the wind insists on misaligning both wild hair and tempers! After such a copious winter and with spring now just a few days away, I really feel like to be rewarded with vibrant colors, mild temperatures, afternoon walks until late in the evening... While nothing of this arrives, I can only savour the languid reminder that photographs so well may  report of the last days of last summer.

Depois de uns dias de sol a fazer adivinhar o prenúncio de uma tão ansiosamente esperada primavera, eis senão quando, a chuva volta a cair, os dias arrefecem e escurecem de novo e o vento agreste teima em desalinhar cabelos e ânimos! Depois de um inverno tão copioso e com a primavera já apenas a alguns dias, apetece mais é ser brindada com cores vibrantes, temperaturas amenas, passeios pela tarde dentro...Enquanto nada disto chega, resta-me saborear a lânguida lembrança que as fotografias tão bem podem reportar dos últimos dias do verão passado.
