Girl Crush #1 Emily Schuman

On this new monthly series I am going to let you know some of my favourite inspirational women throughout the blogosphere world. I had to start with this one. I found Emily Schuman's blog Cupcakes and Cashmere in the beginning of 2009 and became immediately addicted to it. Being the first to establish a connection between food and fashion, her blog stood out from the very beginning, she was a pioneer in this matter and it has certainly paid off throughout the years. I admire Emily because she was one of the first bloggers to establish herself as a viable commercial force, proving that with hard work, passionate followers, consistent publications on a daily basis and original content she ended up by building personal brand in a wholly new digital way, while still maintaining humble, very nice to her readers and clearly down-to-earth. She's now a fashion designer and will soon launch a home décor line as well. My girl crush!
