Concrete Floors

When we finally decided to apply "concrete"like big tiles on the kitchen floor I felt like backing up my decision a bit for I was afraid it would look too "industrialized", "cold" or "impersonal", but now I'm glad we went for it, because it actually looks beautiful, elegant, stylish and warm. The only maintenance required of concrete floors is weekly mopping with soapy water. It's actually very chic and it added my kitchen  a sleek contemporary look.

    I hate rugs. HATE rugs, and love any kind of bare flooring, concrete included. My husband, on the other hand, wants rugs wall-to-wall.

    Can this marriage be saved?
