Teapots

Ever since I was a little girl I felt a great love for teapots and the subsequent ritual of setting a beautiful table for tea. I have quite a few, mostly inherited {aka stolen} from my mom and they are truly classy and polished, some embellishing my table on special occasions, others on a more frequent basis. They used to carry me  to imaginary realms of princesses and fairytales and that of Alice in Wonderland. Now, they just look very fancy but haven´t completely lost their kind of magical appeal.

  1. They are masterpieces, no? I do not have one with a world map on it, but I have a coffee cup...

  2. Eu sou mais chávenas, leiteiras e canecas do que a bela da chaleira de louça - que só tenho uma - mas tudo ligado ao ritual do chá, também!! Estas imagens são invejáveis, eheh.

  3. Oh dear Aida, this is getting quite scary! We are so alike in many ways: I too have got this obsession with tea pots and nice table settings. One day we must meet up, over a nice long cup of tea. Your tea pots are beautiful and I would like very single one of them. (1 for green tea, one for chai, one for black tea.....)Much love X

  4. What a cute feature Aida, love teapots as well, they remind me of Alice in Wonderland and The Beauty and The Beast movies. These ones are all so adorable and dreamy!:) Have a good Tue, kisses!:*
