In The Mood For

{celebrating my birthday this Saturday}

When I was younger the days leading to my birthday were lived in excitement and anxiety and I would be eager to debut the new clothes my mother would prepare for that special day. Until today I haven't lost the feeling of great anticipation towards the celebration of life and I still insist on the tradition of wearing something new on that day. Tomorrow I'll be forty-one and although I had higher plans that fell through I still feel very grateful for what I have accomplished until now - for my loving family, some good friends that truly like me despite my flaws and my adorable readers that keep me going through their inspirational and supportive comments. Today the never dying child within me, is jumping with joy, because the cake smells deliciously and tomorrow there'll be a new pair of boots awaiting me! ;)I wish you a lovely weekend!
