Falling For Fall

There's something intrinsically beautiful  about Fall - smokey eyes, winged black eyeliners, thick mascara, dark lips... I absolutely love the layering, the Autumn hues [pastel, camel, brown, black, grey, burgundy, red] reflected both of on leaves and on clothes, the classy outfits, the sexy looks, the fierce boots, the structured trenches, the sultry and seductive pencil skirts, the fitted belts, the glittery accessories- all providing a much-needed antidote to the girlie look that Summer usually perpetuates. I love when it comes windy, cold, brisk, with frost and mist  hanging heavily on air. That's when I love wrapping up with scarves, get all dolled up and grow into a more womanly self. And when the first heavy rain falls and the unmistakable smell of wet earth gets up my nostrils evoking sweet memories past, that's when I know that every year I fall for Fall... again!


Há algo intrinsecamente bonito sobre o outono - olhos esfumados, eyeliners pretos delineados, muitas camadas de rímel, lábios  escuros ... Eu venero em absoluto os sobrepostos, os tons de outono [pastel, camelo, castanho, preto, cinza, magenta, vermelho] refletidos quer nas folhas, quer na roupa, os coordenados elegantes, os looks sexy, as botas imponentes, as gabardines estruturadas, os saias lápis sensuais e sedutoras, os cintos ajustados, os acessórios com brilhos, tudo proporcionando um antídoto muito necessário ao look girlie que o verão geralmente perpetua. Eu adoro quando chega ventoso, frio, rápido, com geada e névoa pendurada pesadamente no ar.  É quando eu mais gosto de embrulhar-me com écharpes, embonecar-me e crescer num eu mais mulher. E quando a primeira chuva pesada cai e o cheiro inconfundível da  terra molhada  se entranha pelas minhas narinas evocando ternas memórias passadas,  é quando eu sei que a cada ano me volto a apaixonar pelo outono ... de novo!
