This tart is food of the gods for those who love mixing the acidulated citrus flavor of limes [also widely used for cocktails, still I will try], the floral aroma of its juice and zest of the peel, with the rich , warm, comforting and intense flavor of dark chocolate. A perfect combination where different flavors intersect perfectly and that is the living proof that opposites do attract!
Ingredients:
Ingredients:
- 2 packages Oreo tubes
- 100g margarine
- 2 packages of cream (400 ml)
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 8 gelatin sheets [colorless)
- 5 limes
Preparation:
Grind the cookies (white included) and add 100 ml of melted butter and put the dough in a mould. Take it to the cold to harden a bit, but also to a preheated oven fterwards, for about 10 m to 180 degrees. For the filling of the pie wash the limes, grate the peel and cut them up, keeping the juice. In the meanwhile, put the gelatine sheets to soak in cold water. Start beating the cream with an electric mixer, adding the condensed milk until you get a fluffy cream. Continue beating while slowly adding the lime juice. Beat until the cream is consistent. Then drain the leaves of gelatine and dissolve them in 2 or 3 tablespoons of boiling water, stirring well to dissolve completely.Add the dissolved gelatin to the cream, as well as the zest of a lime and blend all well . Fill the mould with the cream, sprinkle it with rest of the lime zest and take it to the refrigerator to solidify.
