This week I returned to my childhood for about an hour and felt like a little kid again! At the back of my parents' farm the brambles grew a lot and what was my surprise when I discovered a proliferation of blackberries there! I went back to the house and got a bowl and filled it up! Among those I ate directly from the brambles and those I managed to pick into the bowl, I have collected a few scratches, but they were all worth it! As it was my brother's birthday this week and he does not like cream, I decided to bake this cake, which if nothing else, at least symbolized our deep affection for each other and that, in addition the sweet and citric light tast of the fruits, also had that of a fantastic complicity that has always been there!
Ingredients:
- 2 tea cups flour
- 2 tea cups sugar
- 1 soup spoon yeast
- 4 eggs room temperature
- 1 cup sunflower oil
- 1 orange
- 2/3 whole limes
- wild blackberries
Pre-heat the oven 190ºC/ 4 gas
Take
the zest of the limes and of the orange, then squeeze them into a bowl. Mix the eggs, the oil and the sugar. Add it
to the flour and yeast. In a
bowl mix everything together and addd the zest and the juice of the fruits. Put the dough in a cake
mould lightly greased with butter and sprinkled with flour. Add the
blackberries. Put it in
the oven for about 45 minutes. Pour some leftover juice in the middle of the cake when it has cooled down a bit.
Ingredientes:
- 2 canecas de farinha
- 2 canecas de açúcar
- 1 colher de sopa de fermento
- 3 ovos temperatura ambiente
- 1 caneca de óleo de girassol
- 1 laranja
- 2/3 limas inteiras
- amoras silvestres
Pre-aquecer forno a 190ºC/ 4 gás
Bate
tudo cerca de 3 m e junta à massa o sumo e as raspas. Põe a massa numa forma ligeiramente untada com
manteiga e levemente polvilhada com farinha. Junta as amoras.
Delicious, I have to try this.
