Time Travelling To Conímbriga - The Culture

I love all forms of art - from music, to films, to theater plays, to live concerts, to exhibitions, to paintings, to drawings and naturally, to sculpture. The task of a sculptor is not an easy one, for he/ she has to grab the raw material, has to shape it in his/ her hands, many times hurting himself/ herself, hardening the skin through the use of pure strength, carving the rock, swallowing the dust of his/ her own creation, still having to face the judgement of complete strangers. These remains of ancient times tell a story of unknown artists, whose work survived the passage of time and somehow they bring to life an assortment of spirits from our past and our future.

  5. Aida,
These are very interesting art pieces. I think I love the ancient statues the most. If you like art sculptures and painting, I think you would like Nel's post at the Louvre in Paris. Such fabulous art work there.

    Have a happy week.
