In The Mood For

{celebrating life and sunny birthday morning}

Today is my birthday- 40 years old! Middle crisis sympton or not I still feel young at heart!Suddenly I realize that I have still so much to accomplish and so many goals to achieve. I regret some of the opportunities lost, I miss the time of careless responsabilities and I miss that part of me that was truly naive, but certainly better. Nevertheless, I am proud of the little crow's feet around my eyes, for they are a sign of the much I have laughed and of the great moments I've spent with those that were significant at some point in my life; the first grey hairs do not scare me any longer for they represent how much I've lived, endured and strengthened myself throughout the sinuous paths of my life and I do not fear any challenges or probations, for I have wised up now, I am willing to learn better and not just learn more and, most of all, I am really excited about everything that's to come!I'm in the mood for...

Hoje é o meu aniversário - faço 40 anos! Sintoma de crise de meia idade ou não, a verdade é que ainda me sinto muito jovem! De repente, dou-me conta que ainda tenho tanto a realizar e muitas metas a alcançar. Lamento algumas das oportunidades perdidas, tenho saudades do tempo das responsabilidades displicentes e sinto falta daquela parte de mim que era realmente ingénua, mas certamente melhor. No entanto,sinto orgulho nos pequenos pés de galinha  à volta dos meus olhos, pois são um sinal do muito que eu ri e dos momentos fantásticos que passei com aqueles que foram significativos nalgum ponto da minha vida, as primeiras cãs não me assustam mais , pois representam o quanto eu tenho vivido, sofrido e fortalecido ao longo dos caminhos sinuosos da minha vida e não temo desafios ou provações, pois estou mais alerta agora,  estou disposta a aprender melhor e não apenas a aprender mais e, acima de tudo, estou realmente animada com tudo o que ainda está por vir! Apetece-me...
