This recipe has already been made in the spring of last year and I had forgotten it altogether. They're meringue cookies made with leftover egg whites from another recipe, because, in fact I don't like wasting food / ingredients and which, although they are not exactly the traditional meringues , they are extremely are very pleasant and are tasty, with a lightly caramelized hint and soft texture that dissolves in the mouth. Very cheap, super easy to bake and tasty - a perfect dessert for those days when you do have hands full!
Ingredients:
• 5 egg whites
• sugar
• zest and juice of one lemon
• spray to grease [I used Espiga]
Whisk the egg whites, adding a tablespoon of sugar for each egg white. Add the zest and juice of a lemon, form small balls with spikes on a tray lined with parchment paper and greased with butter spray and take to a pre-heated oven at 150 ° until lightly golden in color.
