Mint Julep Cups

Sometimes simple things are the most beautiful ones, the most exquisite and the most captivating. Sometimes they're also the hardest to achieve. This is not the case. You'll just need some mint julep [a traditional Southern American drink made of mint leaves, bourbon, sugar and water] cup in silver [it will add a kind of vintage vibe if monogrammed and tarnished] and to grab the prettiest buch of flower you can lay your hands on and sudden your house will feel sophisticated, stress relieved, uptodate, fresh and the room in itself will be lifted. It's simple elegance at its best and I'm already in the hunt for some silver mint julep cups to refresh my lifestyle!


Às vezes as coisas mais simples são as mais bonitas, as mais requintadas e as mais cativantes. Por vezes também são as mais difíceis de conseguir. Não é este o caso. Só precisas de um copo prateado [se for monogramado ou talhado dará um certo ar vintage] de mint julep [uma bebida sulista americana feita de folhas de hortelã, burbon, açucar e água, de deitar a mão ao ramo de flores mais bonito que conseguires e, de repente, a tua casa irá parecer sofisticada, liberta de stress, moderna, fresca e a divisão irá rejuvenescer. è a elegância simples no seu melhor e eu já ando à caça de uns copos prateados de mint julep para refrescar o meu estilo de vida!

    These are beautiful, I wish I could find some in some antique or vintage shops, but since I live in the North (where mint juleps are not the most popular beverage) it's pretty much a losing situation...and I have to say, this post has made me rather thirsty!

    We have a ton of mint growing in our garden (spreads like wild fire, ugh...), anyways my hubby has been making a lot of mojitos these days and I sent him the mint julep. Maybe he'll like that as well. ;)
