This weekend my favourite season is officially here, but this time of the year can be tricky, because although the calendar reads Fall, the temperature outside isn't quite there yet and still seems to be nurturing Summer. It's the perfect time of the year to celebrate all things homemade, to get inspired by the colours of nature, to add candlelight to a table upon dusk, to make jam, bake pies and bread,  to gather family to celebrate birthdays [quite a few just this month].
