Because starting the year feeling rejuvenated, flawless and beautifully scented has got to be a good sign, right? These were my favourites during this past month. I hope you'll enjoy them!
1. It took me a while to leave some beauty shop brands behind in order to try French Pharmacy products but what a change it has made in my skin since I've discovered this line by Caudalie! love many Caudalie products but this is one of my favorites so far. This oil is light and soaks into the skin quickly without leaving an
oily residue behind. It leaves my skin very soft, vene, pump and dewy, which I just love. I apply this after I
cleanse my skin at night, before my moisturizer by the same line I
only use a few drops. It's a bit expensive, but as I use it
sparingly it has proven to last quite a while. The smell is very light and
it has a slight floral hint to it. I apply it with my hands in circular motion - to me, the sensory experience is just as important as the function and I love how it glides on my skin that way.
2. I had been wanting to try this foundation for a while now, but somehow the ladies from the beauty dhop I usually go to always managed to talk me out of it because they considered it not fit for my skin type [combination skin, by the way]. You know what? I've changed shops nad went with my guts and there they told me it was great and you know what? Always go with your guts! This is a beautiful luminous foundation that will give you a healthy
glow while evening out skin tone, hydrating the skin and covering
imperfections. The coverage is light to medium but it is buildable. It allows your skin to breathe as the texture is quite light and runny. It evens out my slightly pigmented skin [oh careless suntan years!!!], it's slightly satin finish but not too much, it soaks in after few
minutes to a less dewy look but not dry or heavy looking at all.On me this stays put for the rest of the day.I feel it like a second skin. This foundation is amazing. It enhances my skin.
Everytime I put this on, people would compliment my skin. MY HOLYGRAIL FOR SURE!
3. You know me well by now so you also know that i love to smell good. And if that can be done in an affordable way even better! This one smells of amber, a bit of chocolate and spices - all in a beautiful and subtle manner. There is this ambery-powdery scent that is very soothing and relaxing but at the same time sultry sexy and enveloping. The packaging is sophisticated and pretty to display in a asmoky brown gradient thick glass. The top notes consist of bergamot, at the heart of the potion are strawberry and rosewood -
those two are very well balanced and the base notes consist of vanilla and amber [all my perfums have to have these two ingredients]. An hidden gem...go find it!

Rock The Shearling Jacket
The shearling jacket has become a winter staple this last season and I have to admit it has grown deeply into my affection as each cold, frosty, freezing month went by. I love its cool retro feel, its nonchalant and clear effortless vibe, the fact that it is a timeless piece that's as versatile as it is classic and the perfect uniform for running errands in the cold.Have you got one already?

Find Of The Month - Makeup
This mascara by H&M was a great find for a quite affordable price tag and the tiny
bristles actually hook onto each lash to separate and lengthen root to
tip. I find this mascara quite buildable, and thanks to the tiny comb-like bristles, it doesn’t clump as you build volume. It's pretty dark, which is also a bonus for me. It’s great purchase and absolutely worth a try.
Have you tried it already?

Find Of The Month - Cooking Book
As my cookbooks collection has been steadily growing over the past couple of years along as my passion for it, I've deciced it was high time to create a new monthly post to suggest you some of my favourite ones. Let's start by this one. Recipes feature photographs of the four to six ingredients typically
included as well as the finished dish. Food styling is kept to a
minimum.and the bonus is that besides the recipes are in general all quite easy to assemble, most of the ingredients can be easily
sourced in a supermarket. A must-have for sure!
