Passadiços do Rio Paiva

This past August I spent a whole day in the wild nature, enjoying amazing beautiful settings, awesome air and breathtaking landscapes, while joining an adventure of a five-hour-walk [20km roundtrip] in  Arouca  [a town and a municipality in the Metropolitan Area of Porto, Portugal] which is a member of the European Geoparks Network and Global Geoparks Network on account of its outstanding geological heritage.It's therefore very sad to know that a fire has recently destroyed part of the amazing work some architects have done building the "passadiços" which has provided me some of the most wonderful times during these past summer holidays. Hopefully it will all come to good terms in a nearby future. Let the photos speak for themselves...

  2. Parece ser um lugar onde se respira calma e tranquilidade! Adoro lugares assim! Vivo numa ilha e pode parecer estranho mas cada vez mais prezo e admiro a natureza, adoro olhar o céu, o mar, apreciar e reparar em pormenores que no meio da azáfama dos dias nos passam completamente ao lado!   5. Hello mi querida! What an amazing place! Wish I was there right now, being a big nature lover this is a pure heaven for me. So sorry for the fire and what it destroyed, hope everything will come back to this soon. The landscapes from ur pics are just breathtaking, they remember a path near my city.
