In The Mood For

I'm already in countdown  to get into Christmas holidays mode. I'm willing to spend three days in a row clutching pots and pans, flooding the house with all the smells of the holidays - chocolate, cinnamon, boiled pumpkin, roast beef, spices, freshly brewed coffee ... I hope I can relax a bit and enjoy the special moments with the family and the visit of friends. Unfortunately, this is not going to be the time when I'm spending Christmas in the new house, but as I have already been waiting for so long, I shouddn't be discouraged by a minor setback - it's giving me a hard time, tough, I must admit. This week Tefal's frying pans have finally arrived and I plan on  trying them this weekend, with a tasty dish, of course! I still have many things to do, but from a particular time on I decided that I will stop working and relax a little more. The lights on my Christmas tree blink every night since last weekend, and in those magical moments in the silence of the night and of the house while sipping a nice cup of hot and steaming tea, while I contemplate for a moment the brightness of the lights in the dark, I feel inundated by an unusual tranquility and I find myself smiling inside. Unable to give it another name, I decided to call this feeling the Christmas spirit! ;) I'm in the mood for ... 


Já estou em contagem decrescente para entrar em modo de férias de Natal. Estou desejosa de passar três dias seguidos agarrada a tachos e panelas, a inundar a casa de todos os aromas das festividades - chocolate, canela, abóbora cozida, carne assada, especiarias, café acabado de fazer...Espero poder descontrair um bocado e  aproveitar os momentos especiais com a família e a visita dos amigos. Infelizmente, ainda não é desta que vou passar o Natal na casa nova, mas quem já esperou tanto tempo, também não se pode deixar abater por um pequeno contratempo - embora me esteja a custar, admito. Recebi esta semana as frigideiras da Tefal  e vou estreá-las este fim de semana, num petisco bem apetitoso,  pois claro! Ainda tenho imensas coisas por fazer, mas a partir de uma determinada hora decidi que vou parar de trabalhar e descontrair um bocadinho mais. As luzes da minha árvore de natal piscam todas as noites desde o passado fim de semana e, nesses momentos mágicos, no silêncio da noite e da casa, enquanto beberico uma boa chávena de chá quente e fumegante, e contemplo por alguns instantes o brilho das luzes no escuro, sinto-me inundada por uma tranquilidade invulgar e dou comigo a sorrir por dentro. Sem conseguir dar-lhe outro nome, decidi chamar a este sentimento, espírito natalício! ;) Apetece-me...
