Peaches are one of my favourite fruits and I could really have them all year round, all the time. Fortunately now, it's their season but when I made this recipe there were no peaches yet, so I had to resort to canned ones - good enough, but never like fresh ones! I love their scent, the texture, the amazing flavour and the fact that they can be utterly refreshing, just the right amount of sweet... and in a tart they can certainly taste like a bit of heaven on earth.Just try it!
- 1 sheet puff pastry
- peach jam
- canned peaches
- light brown sugar
- 1 egg + 1 spoon milk = eggwash
