New Year Reflections

The first morning of 2015 has arrived with a big sunshine and it felt like a balm and a sign of hope. In the last couple of weeks, as the end of the year was fastly approaching, I have spent a lot of time thinking about all the upheavels that have happened in my life the past year and how they have made me grow and change as a person. So despite I have wishes that I would love to see come true  my main decision is to work on truly living in each and every moment, instead of constantly being preoccupied with what is coming next. What are your hopes for this brand new year?

  4. When we go through a bad time, we begin to be apprehensive - instead of hopeful - about the future. I know. It's a behavior that must be "unlearned" and replaced - if not with hope - then with acceptance and serenity. I am still working on this, but its getting better, so hang in there, it will happen. We eventually learn to be happy again, but this time not out of blind faith, but out of wisdom.

I wish you an end to your troubles, and the good things that come with new strength. The present is all we have - the past is unchangeable and the future not ours to see. So be good to yourself, and know that this, too, shall pass.
