Here Comes The Sun

Now that summer has officially declared its arrival yellow is the slogan! I love this  solar, positive, vibrant, energetic, lively colour, which symbolizes happiness, luxury, brightness, because it is associated with sunlight and warmth! Because it has a nuance of very diverse shades - lime, canary, mustard, egg, neon, saffron, amber, baby - it suits everyone as long as the hue chosen suits your skin tone / hair. Inspiring,  creativity inducing, intense it is a colour that is a casually sophisticated and gives a modern look to outfits. Being a strong color, it is usually the main color of the outfit. Yellow looks great with nude tones, navy blue, with black and white, with purple, with jeans, but my preferred composition is with gray - it's ultra sophisticated. In the decoration of the house, in strategic notes, it emphasizes the room and either in  food or drinks it is equally irresistible! And you? Will you invest in this colour?

Agora que o verão decretou oficialmente a sua chegada o amarelo é a palavra de ordem! Adoro esta cor solar, positiva, vibrante, enérgica, viva, que simboliza a felicidade, o luxo, o brilho, pois está associada à luz do sol e calor! Como tem uma nuance de tons muito diversificada - lima, canário, mostarda, ovo, neon, açafrão, âmbar, bébé -  fica bem a qualquer pessoa, desde que o tom eleito se adeqúe ao seu tom de pele/ cabelo. Inspiradora, aguçadora da criatividade, intensa é uma cor que despretensiosamente sofistica e confere um ar moderno aos coordenados. Por ser uma cor forte, geralmente é a cor principal da produção. O amarelo fica muito bem com tons nude,  azul marinho, com preto e branco, com roxo, com jeans, mas a minha composição preferida é com o cinza - fica ultra sofisticado. Na decoração da casa, em apontamentos estratégicos, faz realçar a divisão e na comida/ bebidas é igualmente irresistível! E vocês? Vão investir nesta cor?

In The Mood For

This week the emotions have been on edge. The tasks for the prom of  kids from school are almost finalized. We spent the week turning bottles and cans into jars, set the menu,the play list, the theme and we are finalizing preparations for what will be a deeply felt farewell. I think school is that - a place of affection. It was with great pleasure, that I spent the last two days stuck in the kitchen, between the confection of different pies and of the  cake for the prom, that I hope to be exactly what they wanted. I will still be doing the make up of some of my co-workers/ friends to the party, that we long for will be remembered. Tomorrow sales season will officially be opened - a disgrace to the wallet, but a balm for the eyes. I'm in the mood for...

 Esta semana as emoções têm andado à flor da pele. As tarefas para o baile de finalistas dos miúdos da escola estão quase finalizadas. Passámos a semana a transformar frascos e latas em jarras, definimos o menu, as músicas, o tema e estamos a ultimar os preparativos para aquela que será uma despedida muito sentida. Acho que a escola também é isso - um local de afetos. Foi com muito gosto, que passei os últimos dois dias enfiada na cozinha, entre a confeção de tartes variadas e do bolo para o baile, que eu espero que esteja , sobretudo, do agrado deles. Terei ainda em mãos a maquilhagem de algumas colegas para a festa, que se quer inesquecível. Amanhã também começa oficialmente a época de saldos - uma desgraça para a carteira, mas um bálsamo para os olhos. Apetece-me...
