October Beauty Buys

Now that Summer is gone and Autumn seems to be in full mood it's high time to figure out how to keep our hair looking good easy breezy and your skin glowing in spite of the crisp drying wind and cold. A new season always forces us to make certain changes in our routine  forcing us to find effective strategies to make sure we look our best each day. These were my allies from the last month. I hope you'll enjoy them!

1. I have very fine hair, and many styling products just weigh my hair down or make it greasy. Five pumps of this magic elixir by L'óreal [spread on hands and then going through the length of my hair, which is now below my shoulders] does neither of those things - I get a nice, smooth and shiny finish when I blow-dry straight that stays all day without becoming heavy or greasy. My hair feels soft and natural, as though it doesn't have any product in it. It also washes out easily and doesn't cause build up. Plus, the drugstore glass bottle feels very luxurious, it lasts for a lot of months and for the price tag it will feel like you've just hit jackpot!

2. This amazing neutral colour is great for Summer into Fall transition when we do not want to wear our nails bright anymore, but aren't still exactly in the mood to step forward to darker hues. The smoothy, opaque consistensy of this nailpolish - slightly runny and creamy - is perfect for building up coverage and the fact that it's touch-dry in about two minutes is also a great factor. Anny's nailpolishes are as good as other premium brands and the fact the the price is not that prohibitive makes them an even better choice!

3. I am a foundation junkie, per se, and from all the so many different brands that I've tried during my life this one by YSL is by far one of my favourites. Described as a weightless, illuminating foundation that will even out the complexion and enhance the skin's natural beauty, containing SPF 19 it fast became a must-have and a daily ally. YSL Le Teint Touche Eclat Foundation has a really creamy, fairly thin (but not watery) and moisturizing texture that blends seamlessly onto my skin.  With a light-medium coverage , my favourite kind, two pumps [I love the hygienic pump detail ] are more than enough to make  my face look more perfected and luminous. I use my fingers to apply them and the finish is super natural, fresh, healthy and luminous without looking shiny. I'm thrilled about it and this is a keeper for sure!

  1. Adoro o óleo da L'Oreal! Uso o que é especifico para cabelos pintados - é ainda mais leve! - e não me canso. Excelente para dar um puco de melhor aspecto ao meu cabelo após o uso de shampoo e condicionador da Pantene, marca que não volto a comprar, é horrivel, dá cabo do cabelo.
