September Beauty Buys

The past month of September was time to refill my vanity table with a mascara I always love having at hand no matter if I have others, a peachy blush that accentuated the beach vibe of my still lighlty tanned skin and to try a new brush format that I couldn´t imagine how useful it would become. I hope you enjoy it!

1.I always choose the very black hue because I am all into dramatic eyelashes, even on a daily basis. The wand of Maybelline's The Rocket mascara is big and full and I love the way it gives me a bit of a "clumpage" besides separating and defining my lashes. It has a fabulous staying power, delivers you a beautiful volume and it's very easy to apply.

2.This super affordable cruelty-free drugstore brand from Germany,Catrice, sold at Well's, has the most beautiful defining blushes as this deep peachy/ coral one [nº 50 -Apropos Apricot], I just can't live without anymore. This is a ultra-soft, very fine and  pigmented blush [but not too strong a colour] with vitamins C and E has compact form makes it so long lasting in terms of years of usage and its colour suits light to medium skin tone [ there's no provided mirror and blush brush but most brushes that come with the blush aren't good anyway and I don't need to carry this for re-fills as it's long-lasting enough.]. It has a slight shimmer but appear semi matte on skin. Overall it's a good product and great value for money - I will surely get more of the remaning blushes collection!

3.I love having different brushes to apply products and this Barbara Hofmann's fan brush was a shape definitely missing in my make up bag. I admit that at first I didn't exactly know what it was used for, but hence I started using it I became a fan - this multi-functional brush adds definition by angling the brush to contour your cheekbone ad its large, fanned head is also great for use with illuminating powders for an airbrushed finish; not to mention the fact that it immedialtely turns into a must-have tool for lifting away any excess eyeshadow that may have fallen during the application. It is relatively cheap and very effective.

  3. Morning Aida! I have either the mascara and the blush and they are really great! Especially, you just reminded to buy another blush from Catrice, this brand is really good for blushes but also in general, I used it a lot. Many hugs! xo

  4. Gosto muito dos blushes da Catrice, mas tons pessego ou coral não me favorecem nada. Tenho um rosa que amooooo, dura imenso.
