Goat Cheese, Ham & Prosciutto Pastries

Although I admit I have a huge sweet tooth, my "salty" tooth is even bigger! I love everything involving pastry, cheese and smoked ham - three deadly sins in what concerns cholesterol levels, I know, but then we combine some spicy greens like arucula, a glass of fresh passion fruit juice and we are before the perfect treat either for a more comforting snack or a light meal that proves to be exceedingly tasty and easy to prepare!

Ingredients:
  • two sheets of shortcut pastry
  • ham
  • prosciutto
  • goat cheese
  • ground pepper
  • eggwash
  • arucula
  • fresh passion fruit juice
Cut the shortcut pastry in rectangles. Inside the pastry, put a bit of eggwash, place a slice of ham or prosciutto and wrap it around a thick slice of goat cheese, seasoned with ground pepper. Close the pastry into a rectangle shape and embellish it as you please. Brush pastry lightly with egg and take it to pre-heated oven at 180º for about 20 minutes, or until slightly golden.
