My Blueberry Nights Cake

One day I read somewhere that one of the secrets for a good sweet is to bring back to our mind a memory - of childhood, of a special moment, of a place, of a particular person, of the weather, of a movie... The one that I bring you today is a misture of all this allied to the fact that our house is completely filled with a delicious scent and our palate is greedily satisfied with the soft texture, light and sightly acidified of lemon paired with blueberries, easened by the softness and reinvigoration of white chocolate. It's a cake proper to those days when we are searching for ourselves in the fissures of a cake so smooth that it almost breaks into pieces at the slightest touch...

Ingredients:
  • 2 tea cups flour
  • 2 tea cups sugar
  • 1 soup spoon yeast
  • 3 eggs room temperature
  • 1 cup sunflower oil
  • 1/2 tea cup milk
  • 2/3 whole lemons
  • blueberries
Pre-heat the oven 190ºC/ 4 gas

Take the zest of a lemon, then peel the other two unil all the white comes off, because it's extremely bitter. Put the lemons in the blender. Mix the eggs, the oil and the sugar. Add it to the flour and yeast. In a bowl mix everything together for about 5m. Put the dough in a cake mould lightly greased with butter and sprinkled with flour. Add the blueberries - if you don´t want them to sink pass them through flour first. I didn´t because I didn´t know - always learning! - but will try it on another recipe later and show you if it works!Put it in the oven for about 35 minutes.

Cover:
  • white chocolate melted with butter and a bit of milk

Ingredientes:
  • 2 canecas de farinha
  • 2 canecas de açúcar
  • 1 colher de sopa de fermento
  • 3 ovos temperatura ambiente
  • 1 caneca de óleo de girassol
  • 1/2 chávena de chá de leite
  • 2/3 limões inteiras
  • mirtilhos
Pre-aquecer forno a 190ºC/ 4 gás
